PSG to pressure Neymar to join Barcelona over Real Madrid
Neymar will be reportedly pressured into joining Real Madrid over Barcelona by PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi should the club receive a bid in the region of £200million from Los Blancos.
Neymar wants out of PSG and Real Madrid and Barcelona are both currently fighting it out to secure the player’s signature.
The Brazil international feels the time is right to leave the Parc des Princes, two years after he moved in a £200m deal.
Barcelona are currently frontrunners in the race to land Neymar, with the player himself hellbent on returning to the club where he enjoyed four positive years between 2013 and 2017.
But Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo say Neymar will be pressured into going to Madrid by PSG chief Al-Khelaifi should they be offered their money back.

Wissam Ben Yedder joins Monaco
Wissam Ben Yedder has joined Monaco from Sevilla on a five-year deal.
The France international striker was linked with a move to Manchester United in the transfer window.
Monaco suffered an abysmal season last time out, finishing way down in 17th and two points clear of the relegation play-off.
Ben Yedder had netted 70 goals in 138 matches for Sevilla.
Roma only interested in Alexis Sanchez on one condition
Manchester United are looking to force Alexis Sanchez out of the club according to reports, and Roma could be willing to take him off their hands.
The Chilean’s move to Old Trafford has been nothing short a disappointment since he arrived in January 2018, now he could finally be set for an exit which has been brewing since last summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to get Sanchez’s £505,000-a-week wages off the books, so the club can embark on a new structure.
It’s believed that the figure is being used as a benchmark by players during contract negotiations and by transfer targets looking to move to the club.
According to The Sun, Roma want to sign him on loan but only if Manchester United are willing to share out his wages.
A source at the Italian club also confirmed to RomaPress that they have been offered the chance to sign Alexis and are also willing to pay a large portion of his salary.

Phil Neville on Man Utd transfers
Phil Neville believes Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been smart in the signings he has made.
“They were more together, definitely (against Chelsea),” Neville said.
“It is early days but it was a fantastic game of football. In pre-season I’ve seen a real together, unified team playing a certain way and system. There’s been a shift in culture with the players brought in too.
“The best moment on Sunday was when James scored that goal and the emotion in his face about what it meant to him.
“Playing for Manchester United should mean something to you, and the signings Ole has made and the likes of (Mason) Greenwood, (Angel) Gomes and (Tahith) Chong coming into the squad means the bare minimum we’ll see is a Man United team which will fight right until the end.”

Bayern Munich interested in Philippe Coutinho
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona on loan.
That would only happen though if the Brazilian was not included in any swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar.
Sky in Germany say the Bundesliga club are closely monitoring the situation and could move for Coutinho.
Barcelona have previously placed an £80million price tag on the former Liverpool midfielder.

Man Utd desperate to sell Alexis Sanchez
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is preparing to banish £500,000-per-week flop Alexis Sanchez to the reserve squad if he is unable to leave the club this month.
Manchester United are keen to offload Alexis Sanchez, who has been woeful since joining the club in January of last year.
He has been linked with a move to Italy, with reports suggesting that both Inter Milan and Roma were interested in him.
But that reported interest has led to nothing, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is apparently set to punish the 30-year-old if he does not push through a move.
According to The Sun, Solskjaer will demote Sanchez to the reserve squad unless he leaves the club.

Arsenal fans should be excited for Kieran Tierney
Arsenal new-boy Kieran Tierney has “got everything” and will “run through a brick wall” for his new club, says Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn.
“He’s got everything,” McGinn told talkSPORT.
“Once he gets back fit, he will run through a brick wall for Arsenal.
“Not only that, he can gallop up and down the pitch and get assists, he’s a very good crosser of the ball.
“He’s also a really humble guy who will improve all the time.”

Barcelona to agree Neymar swap deal
Barcelona and PSG have agreed on two players to be included in a potential swap deal for Neymar, as the Brazilian star closes in on a return to the Catalan side.
Spanish publication SPORT claims Barca will apparently give up Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic after a request from the French giants.
They had been keen to keep Rakitic, but will apparently relent after Real Madrid’s interest in Neymar.
Madrid had been in negotiations with PSG over the signing of the Brazilian forward, but are also interested in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Man City announce Eliaquim Mangala deaparture
Manchester City have announced Eliaquim Mangala has left the club and joined Valencia on a permanent basis.
The centre-back was surplus to requirements at the Etihad.

City have a number of central defenders at the club including Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi.
Roma in talks with Liverpool over Dejan Lovren
Liverpool could offload Dejan Lovren to Roma before the Italian transfer window closes
The Croatia international is down the pecking order at Anfield with Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk all ahead of him.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has also used Fabinho as a centre-back in the past as well.
Personal terms are not expected to be a problem with just a fee needing to be agreed between the Reds and Roma.

Manchester United have a Paul Pogba plan
Manchester United reject any and all bids for Paul Pogba before September 2.
The World Cup winner has been constantly linked with a Real Madrid switch this summer but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to keep him at Old Trafford.
After the 4-0 win over Chelsea at the weekend, Pogba again spoke about his future.
“Obviously there have been things said but only time will tell,” he said.
“However, as I said, I am here in Manchester.
“I enjoy playing with my team-mates and I always want to win every game. I always give it everything.”
