Greta Thunberg in scathing attack on Davos world leaders: ‘YOUR inaction fuelling flames’ | World | News

Greta Thunberg attacked world leaders during her speech at the Davos World Economic Forum. The young climate change activist questioned what world leaders would say was the reason they did not act to prevent an unfavourable climate in the near future. She said: “Last week I met with Polish coal miners who had lost their jobs because their mine had closed. “Even they had not given up.

“On the contrary, they seemed to understand the fact that we need to change more than you do.

“I wonder what will you tell your children was the reason to fail and leave them facing climate chaos that you knowingly brought upon them.

“Will you say that it seemed so bad for the economy, that we decided to resign the idea of securing future living conditions without even trying.

“Our house is still on fire. Your inaction is fuelling the flames by the hour.

“We are telling you to act as if you loved your children above all else, thank you.”
