The Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War beta may only be around for one weekend, but that hasn’t stopped Treyarch from deploying a new PS4 update.
The new Black Ops Cold War update makes a number of gameplay tweaks and fixes for the PlayStation 4 beta.
This includes a fix for a troublesome crash that takes place during the Best Play in VIP Escort matches.
The team deathmatch score limit has been increased to 100, while the Spy Plane has had its cooldown time extended.
According to Treyarch, this is to limit the number of Spy Planes in the sky at any one time.
The developer has also adjusted the tuning on the Duster Stock attachment, and adjusted conditions for joining games that are already in progress.
Sadly, however, Treyarch is yet to fix the issue with skill-based matchmaking (SBMM), which has been dominating the conversation since the beta began.
Fans are adamant that SBMM is broken, and that the game is punishing players for having a good run.

The Black Ops Cold War beta finishes at 6pm BST UK time on Monday, October 12.
The PS4 exclusive beta lets fans check out a selection of classic 6-vs-6 game modes, as well as Combined Arms: Assault and the brand new 40-player Fireteam: Dirty Bomb mode.
This unique new game mode sees ten teams of four compete to collect uranium and detonate dirty bombs.
“Fireteam: Dirty Bomb cranks the action up to 11 with multi-squad insanity,” Activision explains.
“A total of 40 players broken out into 10 teams will compete to take out enemies, collect uranium caches, locate Dirty Bombs scattered throughout the map, and successfully deposit their uranium into said bombs to detonate them and get the win.”
Xbox One and PC owners can check out the next Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War beta, which kicks off on October 22.
