The Norway international is hot property this year with all the top sides interested in his services.

It comes after a stunning season in the Bundesliga while the striker has 33 goals in 31 appearances this year.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona are desperate to snap up the 20-year-old.

Tuchel has broken his silence on the youngster, though he was coy over links ahead of a busy transfer window.

When asked about Haaland, he said: “I will not answer that out of respect for the player and Borussia Dortmund. There is big news around him and his agent.

“It seems like they are creating a race for the player and I will fully accept this a player for Borussia Dortmund, a promising player of course.

“But he isn’t our player and is not in our squad. So we will not comment on anything else regarding Haaland.”

Chelsea have been linked with a number of players including David Alaba, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Niklas Sule.

But Tuchel was keen to maintain that no decisions can be made until the summer when the season is over.

Tuchel on transfers: “The situation is not very clear, so it is best to be patient. I agree with the club to be patient and trust the guys. We have eight decisive weeks now to achieve three big goals (FA Cup, UCL, PL).” #CFC

Chelsea are batting for a top four spot in the Premier League, where they currently sit fourth in the table.

The likes of Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton are just below the Blues and are ready to pounce in case of any slip-ups in the next two months.

With nine games still to play, Tuchel will not want his side presenting their rivals with any chances.

They are also still in the Champions League and face Porto this month for a spot in the semi-finals.
