Ukraine LIVE: ‘Operation faltered’ Putin humiliated as Victory Day parade slashed by third | World | News

Vladimir Putin has been hit by another blow as his Victory Day Parade is slashed by over a third, as the Ministry of Defence (MoD) reports that Russian operations have “faltered”.

The Victory Day Parade is held every year on May 9 to commemorate Russia’s victory over the nazis in 1945.

It is usually used to show off Russia’s strength and military prowess, however, with Russia suffering heavy losses in Ukraine, the parade will be 35 percent smaller this year.

This follows reports from the MoD in their latest intelligence update that as Russia’s operations have “faltered” it continues to hit civilian targets such as schools and hospitals in an attempt to “weaken Ukrainian resolve”.
